The newly organized Magnolia Beach VFD Auxilliary is hosting this year’s Fishing Tournament to benefit the Magnolia Beach Volunteer Fire Department.

The tournament will be held on September 5, 2020, with weigh-in from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Indianola Fishing Marina. An awards banquet will be held at 6:00 p.m. at the Magnolia Beach Fire Barn.

The dinner will feature spaghetti, an auction and Awards presentation. Attendance is free to tournament participants and $10 per plate for others.

The tournament is open to wade fishing or shore fishing by rod and reel, and to kayakers. Any legal live or artificial bait may be used.

First place will be a $200 gift card from Academy Sports & Outdoors. Second place will be a $100 gift card; third place, a $50 gift card.

This is a “rain or shine” tournament. All entry fees go to the Magnolia Beach VFD.
