On September 5th Seadrift was host to a lot of flag-waving “Trumpers”. There were golf carts, trucks, a tractor, and even a lawn mower! Over 100 vehicles with an average of 2 to 4 people per vehicle paraded for President Trump on the streets of Seadrift. Even the “President and his lovely wife Melania” made a special appearance at the parade! People came to see the parade from as far as the Houston area, Hallettsville, and Schulenberg. Our hats off to Butch and Mary Hodges, “Buzzy” and Mary Dillon, and Neal Crumley for “hatching” the idea of a parade for our President!
