This summer has been filled with so many wonderful events at FBC POC. I hope you have been able to be part of them. If you haven’t, don’t worry, there is plenty more to come. Summer isn’t over yet! Our preacher for the month of August is Tom Perkins and his wife, Carol. They have been with us before and we are so excited to have them back with us. Come hear the messages he will be sharing.

Brother Raymond Grant and his wonderful family have just celebrated twenty years with FBC! What a blessing to have him serving as our music and children’s minister for all that time. His children’s sermon during our Sunday morning services, enthralls adults and children alike. We celebrated his church anniversary with a lasagna party on July 31. Fun, food and fellowship. Some of our favorite things.

TEAM KIDS starts again on August 24 and will continue every Wednesday throughout the school year except for holidays. Have you signed up your youngsters? Kindergarten through fifth grade are the ages that can enroll. If you would like to have your child/children picked up by our church van, we will be happy to do that. You can register on the church Facebook page. It’s all free. Dinner is served at 5:30 and classes are over at 7:00.
Labor Day weekend, Saturday, September 3, 11:00, FBC will be giving away hot dogs, chips and water at Kingfisher Beach Pavilion. Stop by, say hello and enjoy a free lunch on us! We will be there until all the hot dogs are gone. Look for us. Everyone is welcome.

Samaritans Purse Shoe Box delivery date is getting closer and closer. If you would like to be part of this ministry by donating small items (no liquids or food) or money, it will be greatly appreciated by the children who receive the boxes at Christmas. Last year we filled 200 boxes. We hope to fill more this year.

We continue to collect for the Food Pantry that is distributed by Fisherman’s Chapel. Hard times bring more needs. If you can contribute money or non-perishable food items, it will be a blessing for others.

We are waiting to welcome you. Come to any or all of our services and activities.
